![]() My beta readers are so generous with their time and they aren’t afraid to kick my ass when I need it.įor this book, there is one person in particular who helped me beyond measure. The friends I’ve made in this community are ones that I know I will have for life. It goes beyond those who are paid to help me with my work, though. I have a whole team behind me who are as invested in my stories as I am and I couldn’t be more indebted their hard work and patience. Fast forward four years and writing and publishing is more fun than I ever imagined it could be. ![]() It wasn’t until I was nearly finished the manuscript that I let my husband and sister in on the fact that I was writing. I wrote in my living room with the lights off after my husband had gone to bed. When I began this journey, it was a solitary endeavor. Since I started publishing four years ago, they haven’t lost a single ounce of thrill, but more than that, with each book that is released, I am more and more grateful that this is my actual life.
